Hey guys Adam Silverstein here on behalf of Expertvillage.com. Now in this next clip I am going to show you a technique of step over. The step over is like a turn that we have done before except at this time you are going to actually bring your outside foot over your inside to turn much more rapidly and actually you have to generate speed when you turn. Now watch me demonstrate on this corner over there. As you watch me you are going to notice that my outside foot literally peaks off the ground and steps over my inside foot. It is going to give me a much quicker turn than normal and I am also going to generate a little speed by pushing off. Now watch as I do it. I am skating up to a normal. My outside foot takes off, crosses over my inside and they cut right around the corner. That is the very quick way to turn and it also gives you speed which is different than the other turns we have done in the past. Good job.
thats so hard to do on the ground actually its easier ice skating !
