Hello my name is Cindy Glover and on behalf of expertvillage.com I'm going to show you how to recycle old ornaments and make them new ones. The next one I call the button ornament. Once again I have a old ornament thats scratched but it is not crack or broken and it is still a good ornament. But I want to cover these scratches so go to your sewing box find some buttons any shape, color with your elemers glue apply drops of glue onto the ornament and then glue your buttons on. If you decide that you want to cover the entire ornament which would be a very pretty ornament you may do so. Or if you would like to place them in different spots on the ornament. Allow it to dry as you see these buttons are trying to slip off so actually I think it is a good idea to press on it for a moment. Then once its dry you could put your hook or a piece of string or yarn through the hole and now you have a brand new ornament. Isn't that nicer then going out and spending more money when you already have what you need at home.
