How to Scraffito a Greenware Pot

Hi I'm Betty Ingham on behalf of Expert Village. We do a lot of things with grape because with the Tuscan theme being so popular now and while this is green in the greenware I drew the grape cluster and the leaves and then I got a tool and just dug it out and this is called sgraffito. You can sometimes use a stamp for that but when it is green like this its you can break it very easily so I just do better if I draw my pattern and I take the clay out. Then when I fire it I will glaze this, I will have to put wax on here after I glaze it so this color will not run into this color.
