Hi, I'm Michael Lamendola with expertvillage.com and today we're going to shoot some pool. Now, there are some rules in this game. Let's say that I was shooting at the two ball and by some extreme error, I hit the three first or any ball for that matter. I didn't hit the two ball first. That's called a table scratch. Now my buddy Jeff can pick up the Q ball, it's called ball in hand and he can put that Q ball wherever he wants on the table. Not behind these two dots, but anywhere. And he has no limitations as to what ball he can shoot, as to where it is on the table. So Jeff's going to think about it. And the first thing he's going to think about is can I give the nine a ride? So, he looks at the nine ball where the two ball's at, he thinks well I probably can't make it. But, what he is going to do now is think about, okay if I make the two ball, what shape will I have for the three ball, and the four ball, and so on and so forth. So, think about this, if your opponent scratches, always think about if you can make the nine first, and then go on to your other shots. So, Jeff made the two, and now he's on his way to the three. He looks at the four and he thinks, the four is real easy where it's at. All I have to do is stop the Q ball in its tracks and, if I make the three, the four is an easy next shot. And that's basically how it goes. Pretty simple game, Nine Ball, and a lot of fun too.
