Hi, I'm Michael Lamendola with expertvillage.com and today we're going to shoot some pool. Alright, so now we're going to play some Nine Ball. My buddy Jeff here won the lag, so he's going to break. Now, when Jeff breaks, if he makes the nine ball, which is easily done in this game, he wins. So, if when he breaks if the nine goes into any pocket, he wins. Now, the great thing about this game is there's no such thing as calling your shots. Trash is king in Nine Ball. So, Jeff's going to break and we'll go from there. Make the nine, this will be a short conversation. Good break, Jeff. Alright, Jeff sunk a ball. He gets to keep shooting. Now, this is what happens. You have to shoot every ball in order in Nine Ball, or at least hit the object ball first. In this case, the lowest ball is still the one ball. So, whatever Jeff does, he has to hit that one ball first. Now, he can make it in any pocket that he wants, but he has to think about the two ball being next, and then the three. So, Jeff, show us what you're going to do. Alright, Jeff missed his shot. Now it's my turn. Same thing. I have to shoot the lowest ball on the table and go from there. So, I've got the one ball first, but I've got to think about what's next, the two ball. So alright, so I've made the one. Now I've got the two ball next, but the two's not going to go in the pocket, the four is. But, that's great because, like I said, as long as you hit the object ball first, whatever else falls is good. So, in a perfect world, I make the two into the four, and then I make the two, and so on and so forth. But, let's say that the nine ball was there. Well, as long as I hit the two first, if that nine goes in, I win. But, in this case, it's not. So, the game continues and keeps going until someone sinks the nine. So, like I said, that can happen many ways. You make it on the break, you win. You make it by hitting a ball into it and giving it a ride into a pocket, you win. You sink all of the balls and get to the nine and sink it, you win. And, don't forget, you don't have to call any shots.
