Balancing a Bike in Place on a Hill

So one pretty standard application of the track stand when you get to a intersection sure the same thing when you get to a red light in the city you don't know which way to go. So if I'm waiting for one of my friends to catch up with me waiting for me to go you know to the right down the hill or to the left up the hill I can balance. So another reason I use the track stance all the time even in little climbing maneuvers All the time whenever you loose momentum you are basically performing a micro version of this maneuver maybe not with that much handle bar movement or anything like that but here I am doing a track stand I'm going to go up the hill so to get out of that I roll backwards, roll forward, kind of balance and head up the hill. I could use it again to turn around and held back down the hill so. Lots of applications like the sooner you figure out how to do this the happier you are going to be and also in riding situation on the streets, on the trial, just really opens up a whole new world of flexibility and fun.
