Hi! I am Ginny with Simply Beautiful Crafts. Please come visit me at www.tlcproductionsonline.com; we will have a good time. Today I am going to show you the supplies that you want to get before make your paper bag memory book. First and foremost of course, you are going to need paper bags. For my book I chose to use white paper bags but brown bags are every bit as attractive. There are many different things that you can do and places you can go to get your supplies. You can go to a craft store, you can go to a scrap-booking store, and you can go to places like Big Lots and the Dollar Store. For my craft I chose ribbons, a lot of them I already have on hand from other things that I have done. You are going to want tag board and regular paper that is different colors. You are going to need craft scissors if you like the fancy edges, otherwise plain old scissors will do. You will also need your plain old scissors. I made sure that I have an exacto knife and a cutting board so that I do not cut any of my surfaces and I use a variety of different adhesives, good old Elmer’s glue, rolling glue, tape and occasionally a stapler. When you go to craft stores or to scrap-booking stores you can find many things like pre-made tags, textured paper, smaller pieces of tag board, you can find even smaller pieces of tag. These are paper cutouts and they are fun for lots of different things. These are what I called doodads, things are made out of metal, plastic, or wood that are 3D but still fairly flat, foam cutouts and then of course you know if you have been to the stores lately there are many, many different kinds of stickers that you can use. For a little bit of a pizzazz I have thrown in a little bit of glitter to add. Of course, you cannot make a paper bag book without a paper punch, very important thing to have on hand. With these few simple supplies you are ready to begin making your book.
