Hi! I am Ginny with Simply Beautiful Crafts. Please come visit me at www.tlcproductionsonline.com. In this segment, we are going to talk about getting started making a paper bag memory book. Obviously the first thing you need are paper bags. This memory book that I made for out daughter Sheila that has over 20 pages required 5 paper bags. You want to take your paper bags and lay them out flat; this will be the outside of your book. Every page gets laid down opposite the first page so you have one page with the end of the bag and the other page at the end of the bag on the opposite end, so your bags are at opposite ends. Then you fold these first two bags, get your paper punch and punch holes at an equal distance from the two edges. That will be your template. You will take the inside bag out and lay the rest of your bags on top of each other one at a time, folding and punching holes, then you will end up with holes that match up and your bag will be the same size, so you will have holes all the way through your bag. So that is how you are going to begin. You want to make sure that the outside of your bag has the inside fold to the inside so that your outside of your bag will be a flat smooth surface and then as you continue putting your bags, you also want to make sure that as this has a flap here, when you put it on this side, it also has a flap here that way you have consistency throughout your bag and you won’t get confused while you are making it. Again folded in half, find an equal distance from the top and the bottom make your first two punches, take out your second bag, put in your third bag and continue in this manner. You are ready to begin building your memory book.
