Tweezers for Jewelry Making

Hello, I'm Alan with Expert Village. Another very important tool that you're going to need to do your beading is actually your tweezers. And you’re going to need different types of tweezers. There are tweezers that have a very fine point to them which are really excellent for picking up very small objects on the table like very thin wires. You're going to see me using these a lot today and then you'll see exactly why we have to have those. Another pair of tweezers that I have, you can't actually see this very well, but they are serrated on the edges so that when I pick certain things up, they won't slip or slide when I pick them up. They will stay in the tweezers. I find them to be aventagious to have those as well. The other ones are actually beading tweezers. They're little rounded tweezers on the end and they have a little cup like inside of them to actually hold the bead in place so that you can maneuver it and handle it any way you want to while your working with it. Another pair of tweezers that I just like to have around are these crypt tweezers that are also serrated on the end. Sometimes they make it easier to pick things up that are long and thin and I just find that handy. None of these tweezers the ones that I think you need the most are the sharp pointy ones and the beaded ones. These are the two you will see me use the most.
