Adding Beads to Beaded Jewelry Projects

Hello, I'm Alan with Expert Village. The next thing you are going to need is your beading tweezers. The ones with the little rounded ends with the cup on it and you are going to see why in just a moment that is so important. When you've got all these beads laid out in all these different containers, it's kind of hard to reach in with your fingers and pick them up individually. That’s why these tweezers are so important. They'll make your life a world easier if you just invest a little bit of money and buy a nice little pair of bead tweezers. We already have our wires that we are going to be making jewelry. Now we have to pick out our beads. Looking at the one that we use for our example, we see that starting with a red bead. So we are going to pick out one red bead for the very end. Now I am selecting two, because I am making two actual earrings. Then the next bead is the Cloisonne bead. So I am going to reach in and pick out two of those. One for each earring. We have another red bead is next. So it's the same size, so we really don't need to measure that because they are all the same size. And then that part is ready. Now we have some silver beads to bring out some of the silver in the actual French wire part of the earring. The next thing we have is to bring out some of the pink in the Cloisonne as a pretty rose quartz elongated bead. Pick out one of those for each. And then we have another silver bead, again the same size. So we don't really need to measure that, but it can be smaller. And of course the variations on these are endless. There are literally millions of ways you can organize these beads.
