How to Practice the Irish Flute Using Tips Exercise

Hi I'm David Cantieni on behalf of Expert Village I'm going to be sharing with you some useful techniques for practicing the Irish style flute. Here we have what I call tips. It has to do with just tapping very lightly the hole below the note that you are playing. For instance this is a E so I would be going and if you notice that you don't actually hear the pitch. That wouldn't be what you are aiming for this is more like it. Again you can do that with each finger. Finally that is sort of a tricky one to do. Now if you like to see how that fits in a tune there are many ways that it might fit but here is one where it actually uses that. Well I use that anyway. Right there. Also you find in those other ornament that you would be using that technique.
