Making A Floral Head Wreath For A Wedding: Part 1

Hi this is Diana for ExpertVillage.com and now I am going to show you how to make a head wreath. For this head wreath I need two pieces of wire and I am going to wind them together because we need one extra long piece of wire for this head wreath. And you will measure the head of the person who is going to be wearing it. Sometimes the flower girl will wear a head wreath and since the green theme for this wedding is ivy, I am going to use ivy for this head wreath. So I have 2 pieces and I am going to put them together and then wind them together with the wire. Leave some of the wire sticking out the end because we are going to need to use that to hook the end pieces together when we get finished. So you are just going to wind these 2 sprigs of ivy together all the way down so that they stay together trying not to smash the leaves. And when you are at the end you are going to leave a piece of wire sticking out the end. Now you can try this on your person who is going to be wearing it, see how big their head is, bring the 2 ends together and then continue winding so that the ends of the wreath stay together. And next I will show you how to put the flowers on a wreath.
