Tips for Linking Corners in Mountain Biking

MICKEY DENONCOURT: There's a series of four corners here that are really one continuous cornering move. As you're coming out of one, you're setting up for the next one, setting up for the next one. So, it helps to be familiar with the terrain, so you know what's coming ahead, so you're not having to figure it out. And then also, going into every corner, you need to be thinking about how you're coming out of it. So it's exit speed, exist speed, exit speed. Whatever you have to do to get your bike in the right spot, so you can come out of the corner quickly is how you want to do it. So, I'm going to ride these four section of corners, focusing on having the fastest overall speed through the section. So that when I get out of this section down there after that drop, I'll be in the best place possible and I'll still be on my bike and together.
