How to Choose a Place to Go Camping

Hi, this is Bruce Lessels from Zoar Outdoor on behalf of expertvillage.com, talking about choosing and setting up a campsite. So when you’re planning your first camping trip you to choose a place to go that have some interesting features around it. You may want to go camping down by the beach, you may want to go on the mountains, you may want to go near a lake, you may want to near a river but just choose a camping place that has some other attractions to it. The other thing about choosing your first camping place is you probably want to choose somewhere that’s already been camped in a fair amount. Often that State Forest or a State Park can be a good option, this State Forest and State Parks have facilities already setup for you. They’ll take care of bathroom facilities, trash facilities and they often have campsites marked out so you know where to go to camp and you’ll be able to find the things you need close by. They often have programs for kids and programs for camp first time campers and that’s a great way to go camping for the first time or again and again if you enjoy the spot.
