How to Play the Blues Guitar Shuffle & Turnaround

Hi! My name is John Armstrong from ExpertVillage.com. Today I will be discussing with you the ins and outs of electric Blues Guitar. Now for this next blues rhythm I am going to combine a little bit the elements of the shuffle in A, but I am also going to add the extended turnaround, I am going to add the walk up, and I am going to integrate some of the seven chords, I will be bouncing back and forth between the shuffling patten and the seven chord pattern, now sometimes you may notice that some of these seven chords, that I will slide up, I will chromatically slide up into it, for example here seven, or D seven, or A seven, or E seven, I am just sliding a fret behind and that is a nice little blues because it gives a nice bluesy sound, I am going to integrate some of that in with the shuffle pattern, extend a turnaround, walk up all those elements that we talked about going to be used, kind of integrate it all together, thrown all together into one, it is kind of a popular style blues, rock, rock country style rhythm, and by varying the tempo or the speed of this you can create totally different sounding songs too, two, three, four…
