Cannonball Footwork in Breakdancing: Free Online Dance Lessons
Hi! This is Lady Jules on behalf of expertvillage.com and in this lesson you are going to learn a really fun simple move called a cannon ball or some people call it hurricanes. So what you are going to do is you are going to come down, you want to think about jumping into a pool and you are making a big cannon ball. This is the position that you are going to stay in. So all you are going to do is you are going to face whatever the wall that you want to. It does not matter what hand goes first and you are going to step out just a little bit with your right hand reaches right next to your foot, you reach over. Your hand can cross a little bit in front, you just want to replace the hands, right hand, left hand open. So it is just like a little crunched up pirouette. So I am going to do this is in a circle type of a pattern and I am going to start here, stay crunched up like a cannon ball and circle, circle, circle, circle and that is a cannon ball. So with the cannon ball what you want to do is when you step out with the right foot your left foot you are going to spin on you this right foot your left foot is going to catch up. So you are spinning the left foot catches up so you are on both feet and then you open back up to the same position you started the right foot reaches out you spin in like a cannon ball you are going to crunch it, open and the leg goes out.
