Creating a Podcast: GarageBand Tutorial

This is Bill Macpherson for Expert Village now in this episode I'm going to show you how to create a podcast in garage band. In your window, your opening window hit create new podcast episode, you can name it, now you can see when it opens up it automatically gives you tracks for voice and jingles. One for a male voice and one for female voice and also a podcast track where you can add outwork and video stuff like that. Now all you need to do is hit record and you'll record the voice. Now you can see it recording right now on this track, we'll hit stop, this will automatically add good effects to it and make it sound really good in your podcast. The next thing you can do is add jingles to it so if we go down here to our browser, bring up our jingles, you can easily bring in little music and also garage band has this thing called ducking. So when you begin talking you'll see that the music will get quieter so you always be able to hear your voice. (playing) In the next clip I'll show you how to setup an enhanced podcast using photos and movies, I'm Bill Macpherson for Expert Village.
