Homemade Makeup Bags: How to Start

Hi! I’m Candi Cane-Canncel on behalf of expertvillage.com. In this clip I’m going to show you how to make a really fun little make-up bag to go with your tote bag. So the first step of this is cutting out two pieces 8 ½ inches across and 5 ½ inches down. And again just using felts I’m using a contrasting color to go with the tote bag just to add the fun detail. Once you’ve done that we’re also going to be adding a appliqué and in this case I’ve decided do a little heart appliqué and to cut that out you just fold your felt in half and simply cut a half heart shape, I think I learned how to do this when I was about 7 or 8 and there you have it.
