Hi! I’m Candi Cane-Canncel on behalf of expertvillage.com. In this clip I’m going to show you how to interface your handles. Now we’ve already cut them out they’re about 3 ½ inches wide and 25 inches long. So I’m just using regular iron-on interfacing and the reason you would want to add interfacing to the handles is just to give them some more strength a little bit more durability. So just cut your piece the same size and then just iron it on…and what I like to do once I’ve ironed the piece flat is I like to go around and trim the edges is because sometimes the interfacing because it’s stretchy will stretch a little bit when you’re cutting it out and you’ll end up with a bigger piece than your actual piece of fabric. So just simply go around all the way around the edges and just trim off all of the excess…once you have all the excess trimmed the next step is going to be stitching your handles together.
