On behalf of expertvillage.com, my name is Richard Buccola and I am going to introduce you to Pool 101. I just want to take a quick second just to show you that we are in a bar in Doyle’s Corner in Story Queens, New York. On a bar table as opposed to a billiard’s table like in a pool hall, the cue ball is actually bigger on a bar size table and that’s for the reason that when they put quarters in the table, this cue ball is able to come back out because it is bigger; it doesn’t go down the slot where the regular balls go. When you are in a billiard table, the ball will actually be the same size and you can see this is a significant difference. That will also change your ability when you are playing on a big table in a pool hall as opposed to playing on a smaller table in a bar. The reason the tables are smaller in a bar is and I feel is because the size of the bar and what they have to offer. When I get back to you, I am going to talk a little bit about just basic shot making. I just want to tell you about the cue ball. See you when I get back.
