Right Hand English: How to Play Pool for Beginners
On behalf of expertvillage.com, my name is Ricahrd Buccola and I am going to introduce you to Pool 101. All right the next shot I am going to talk about instead of dead center, it is called English and what you want to do with English is hit dead center but instead of hitting it dead center, you are either going to right of the cue ball or left of the cue ball. By doing that what will happen is the ball will go in and if you hit it right hand English it will actually come off here and the ball will hit actually hit this rail and come off this way or if you hit it where you want to hit this in this corner and you did it with left hand English, it would hit this rail and come back this way. Whereas if you hit it center, it would follow-up or if you drew back, it would draw back. I’m going to just try the first shot but right hand English; here it is. Dead center, I’m going to go a little bit to the right. Let’s see, it went to the right instead of follow-up. The next shot I will show is left hand English and I will explain a little bit more about that when I come back.
