What I want to talk about is the bike and what you will need to just get started during triathlons the gears that you will need the things thats going to be most important for you to have are bike shorts. Bike shorts have the pad in them they also stick and sit tightly on your body to get bike top somethings that breathable something that you can sweat in often times there's a zipper on so that it can let air come back through. Another important part aspect of it there's pockets so you can put additional gear, food, cell phone, tire, tires, tubes really tubes, maybe an air pump that you might need that's not on your bike so top with pockets is important. You also want to make sure that you have a good helmet a good helmet that fits okay there almost adjustable so you want a good helmet you can ride especially in a triathlon without a helmet on. It's your option to train with or without one, a good pair of sunglasses also sunglasses that have inter changeable lenses so that you can see in clouds those sunny days and on and not so sunny days. So a good pair of sunglasses is important of course your going to want to find a good bike a bike that fits your going to see beginners triathletes on mountain bike, your going to see them on grandparents bikes. But if you want to and take this sport seriously you want to get a good bike it can be a road bike, it can be a triathlon specific bike depending on the intensity that you want to get involved. So make sure you get a good bike you want to make sure that there are at least on water bottle, hopefully possibly 2 water bottles that will fit onto the bike and bike cages and this is just one error that you want to make sure that you have water with you while you ride. Also you want to make sure that you have a maintenance pack this pack carries tubes, it might carry you cell phone, money, it carries a patch kit, maybe a co2 cartridge so that if you do get a flat you can quickly put air in your tire. This here is a tube that can be placed on the bike that you can carry with you it's just a hand pump, that's important piece of equipment that you may just want to carry on your bike. Also these are clip less pedals some beginners don't use the clip less pedal shoe, this actually clips into the bike and will allow you to use inefficient pedal stroke. So these are important if you want to get involved you might want to definitely invest in a clip less shoe. Gloves depending on the length of the ride and the comfort that you want training with gloves is awesome, so I would get a pair of good bike gloves and keep that with you. And then just extra nutritional goo packets that are quick and easy you can through them right in back of the pocket and that's available to you for extra nutrition. And just for at home hand pump keep in the car important to have to be keep your tires aired up and at the correct pressure so you can have the best ride possible.
