Playing Pocket Billiards: How to Play Pool for Beginners
On behalf of expertvillage.com, my name is Richard Buccola and I am going to introduce you to Pool 101. Pool is a game that has been around a long time. It is played at many different levels. You’ve got amateurs, beginners and experts. It is usually a game that is associated with a hustling type of game where you’ve got hustlers who take your money and I am going to get into a little bit of everything as far as pool. I basically just want to show the basics. There are so many different games; 8 ball, 9 ball, straight pool, I could go on forever. One pocket pool, less pool, 8 pool, last pocket 8 ball but what we are really going to try to stress today is the mechanics of pool; how to hold the stick, use different types of English. When I come back, I will be glad to show you that.
