Martini (Sweet) Mixed Drink

This cocktail is called Martini Sweet. Go ahead and start off by putting your ice in your shaker glass like so. Now we're going to do an ounce of gin. There we go, on in. Now we're going to do half an ounce of sweet vermouth. So that's the difference. In your classic martini, you have gin and dry vermouth. In the martini sweet, gin and sweet vermouth. Pretty simple, right? Now we're going to shake it all up. Shake it up really good, get it nice and cold. Normally where your sweet vermouth shows up more predominantly is your Manhattan's. If you're out there in Internet land going, "where did I see sweet vermouth before?" it's usually in Manhattan. That's what your martini sweet is going to look like. And last but not least, we're going to garnish that with an olive. If you want it to stay a little bit truer to the sweet vermouth, you could throw a cherry in there instead of an olive. But this one calls for an olive. And that's it. You're good to go. Cheers.
