Hi my name is Carey Kepler I'm a functional training coach and I'm a triathlon coach I train beginner to intermediate triathletes and get more information off of my web at www.boundless-energy.com. What I want to go through some important safety tips for enduring riding your bike your going to use these inner race your going to use while your training. Very important when your passing pedestrians other biker's and especially use this in the race your going to say "pass on left" you can say "bike left", but make sure you always pass to the left and that the person or the biker in front of you knows that your coming and yell it out by left. "Left, left" that's a crucial and your going to definitely use that in the race. And also whenever a car is in front and your training with several people your always going to yell "car front" and if there's a lot of traffic or car back make sure that everyone in your group knows that there's a car back that a car's coming. So that you can yell that up front to your group in heavy traffic or any kind of situation when your riding with vehicle's on the road. So car back, car front also you want to make sure you point out debris, if your ahead of the group make sure that you point down and signal that there's glass you might want to yell out glass, water, mud, anything that's there a pot whole. You want to point out your going to point that out to the people in your group especially to those behind you, let people be aware so that your having a safe fun ride. Also you want to be familiar with your hand signals okay when your going to turn left your arms going to up, if your going to turn right your hand goes down, let people know and other pedestrians, cars, letting other people know that your turning. So you got your left hand signal, you have your right if your slowing down and coming to an abrupt stop put your hand down and tell the people behind you your slowing down, and that they need to slow down and you've come up to something that's kind of abrupt so you need to slow down or stop. So make sure you use those signals and you those safety tips while your out riding so that you can have a fun safe ride.
