Table Layout for a Game of Blackjack

Hi! This is Daniel on behalf of Expert Village in this clip we’re going to be talking about the layout of a 21 or a standard blackjack table in a standard casino in North America. Now the first thing you’ll want to pay attention to is going to be the minimum maximum betting sign and that signs going to either be placed directly on the table or next to the dealer that sign’s going to tell you the minimum bet and the maximum bet that’s allowed at that table. Now they'll vary from casino to casino and often from table to table so you’ll want to pay attention to that. What’s most important about that sign is your minimums, when you walk up to a table you want to have enough cash in hand to be able to play at least 6 to 8 hands loosing hands at that table otherwise you’re probably just wasting your time. The next thing you want to pay attention to are the table rules, now those rules are going to tell when the house stands on a hand when they hit a hand, now most casino’s in North America are going to hit on 16 or stand on 17. The next thing you want to pay attention to is dealers going to sit on the back end of the hole of the table and the players are going to sit an arch away from the dealer, you can sit in anyone of these places that you feel comfortable but you have to be in a position that has a players hole.
