Coming into a side lean which is a great way to help open up in the sides of the body and release stress and tension that may be holding on in the psoas muscle or anywhere in the side between the ribs. So you can draw your fingertips extending them out to the side lifting one arm up try to keep the bicep close but not too close to the ear with the shoulder blade drawing down the back. Other arm walks out to the side and then you can gently turn your gaze underneath your bicep extend out through the top arm breathe into the side of your body. Feel the openness, the space of the breath in the torso. Be sure your neck is nice and relaxed. As you inhale draw the arm back up release it down and switch sides. Opposite arm comes up again shoulder blade stays down the back as you release and walk over to the side gazing under your bicep. Breathing deeply into the side of your body inhale and then exhale releasing back up fingertips to the floor.
