Shoulder Blade Yoga Stretch

So if you have tightness in your shoulders or around your neck area this is a great way to help release some of the stress or strain that might be holding on. So you want to have a comfortable seated position and a strap or anything that is like a tie or a belt that you can use that you have around the house just extend the arms lengthen them forward as you inhale draw the strap up and around behind your back. Try to hold it in the place where you feel you need the deepest stretch so the front of your chest open shoulders draw down the back. Be sure you can breathe slowly and deeply breathing into the back of the body as much as the front. And then inhale and draw the strap back up and exhale release it forward. And you can do that a few times to help release the strain in your shoulders and then just roll your shoulders out one direction and then the other.
