After Dinner Mixed Drink

Today, I'm going to demonstrate how to mix an After Dinner Shot. Now, when I say an after dinner shot, I just don't mean any shot after dinner, that's specifically the title of this one. We're going to start by building our ingredients in our six-ounce mixing glass. So, as always, add ice. And then our main ingredients are going to be a cherry brandy and a regular brandy or, if you like to take it up a step, try a cognac of your choice. We're going to go equal parts on this or three-quarters of an ounce of each, so a three count is going to be what we're looking for to give us a desired pour. So, one, two and three. And as you see, sometimes one of the pourers get stuck. Just hold it over a little bit longer. That'll give you the pour that you're looking for. From there, we're going to add in freshly squeezed lemon juice. Now, sometimes you have it prepared behind the bar for a time saver. In this case, we're just going to take a lemon wedge and just squeeze the juice directly into the glass. And then feel free to just drop the lemon in there because the rind actually contains more flavors of lemon than the actual juice does. So, we're going to mix and shake our ingredients. Get our shot glass ready and then simply strain directly into the shot glass. And that is your After Dinner Shot. Enjoy.
