Today I am going to demonstrate how to mix and Acapulco shot or shooter. We are going to start by adding our ice to our sixteen ounce mixing glass and pouring in our base ingredient. Which is going to be a tequila. We are using Wella Tequila but feel free to use any tequila of your choice. Light or dark. Doesn't matter it all has the same flavor for this cocktail. So we are going to pour in about 3/4 of an ounce. So one, two and three is going to give us our desired pour and then we are going to mix in our mixing agents which is going to be pineapple juice and grapefruit juice. Now, we don't want to go overboard on this but you still want to be able to taste the tequila. So about 1/2 and ounce of each. Or just a quick splash on this. Normally I would say a two count with the spouts on these hurricane shakers. They are a lot different than that of a pour spout for a liquor bottle. So just make sure it's equal parts. From there you are going to want to get your shot glass ready. And then you are going to mix your ingredients between your mixing tin and your sixteen ounce mixing glass. Really shake it up and fuse all those ingredients. Get nice and chilled and then pour directly into your shot glass and that is your Acapulco shot. Enjoy!
