Hi! I’m Stephanie Phillips for expertvillage.com and this segment is about passport cost. Everyone’s going to need a U.S. passport if you’re traveling to Canada, Mexico if you’re driving or if you’re flying as of January 2001. How much is it going to cost you? It’s going to cost you $97 if you’re an adult, it’ll cost you $67 if you are renewing your passport and if you need it quickly it’s going to cost you $60 in addition to what the passport cost. Remember everyone’s going to need a U.S. passport your birth certificate’s not going to be sufficient so there’s going to be a rush, right now you take maybe about six to eight weeks to get a passport once that rush really hits as of January 2007 it’s going to take up to three months maybe, four months sometimes to get a passport now’s the time to get a passport. Remember the amount is $97 for adults, $67 if you’re renewing and $60 on top of everything if you have to expedite it, one other thing remember if you’re getting your passport you need to have your original birth certificate that has to go and the only other cost you have is to get your picture taken, go to the local drug store they’ll give you two passport pictures and you’ll be ready to go. That’s passports get them today!
