Hi! This is Chris and on behalf of expertvillage.com in this clip we are going to talk about a little bit about utensils for cooking, what you might want to take along on a day hike or a extended stay. All the things you are going to want are the basic pan for boiling water you could make soups or anything even eggs in these kind of pots. They sort of act as a frying pan as well as a pot. Make sure that it fits on your stove properly, some of them are different sizes and may not fit your stove. Some of the other utensils that you may use in a small pot as well for sauces or for coffee, its nice just to have two, two is basically all you will need. As well you want to bring along a cloth for cleaning, wiping and drying. I recommend highly that you get a buy a degradable type soap in order to clean your pots and pan so you don't spoil your environment. A couple of other small utensils that you are made for packing that I choose are collapsible utensils such as this cup or spoon which also use for a measuring cup, also they make spatulas that fold nicely for eggs, sausage, or soup. And also a pasta strainer works nicely with these utensils to strain your pasta. Always remember to bring along your own set of utensils to often I have been out on outings even for a day and no one else brings there own utensils so you end up sharing. So very often I will bring extras just encase someone doesn't bring there own as well. All these could be packed down into a small cinch sack to keep them orderly in your backpack as well as your cleaning utensils it could be all packed down nicely into your pots and pans in a folding style nice so it fits covenant into your backpack.
