Hi! This is Chris and on behalf of expertvillage.com in this clip we are going to talk a little bit about tents. Tents used for backpacking and hiking. All of the most important thing with hiking and backpacking with tents is weight. You want to try and reduce the weight that you are packing as much as possible and some tents could actually be large in combustion. This for instance is a 1.5 pound pack this is intended for backpacking but is about as big as you are going to want to go in todays market. 1.5 pounds doesn't sound like a lot of weight however when you begin to combine all of your items together it does become rather weighty so I want to demonstrate here another option as well as tents are concerned. This is a small bevi which is attended for one person and a few items to be kepted out of the elements. What is really nice about your bevi is that it actually packs down to under a pound and reduces a size and the amount of room it takes up in your pack considerably it gives you more room for items. I would recommend using a bevi on a overnight or two night stay.
