To play a G diminished in second inversion, that is the flat five in the base, on the middle bottom set of strings. Place your middle finger on the 4th fret 5th string. Your ring finger on the 5th frets 4th string. And your forefingers back on the 3rd fret 3rd string. Your chord should sound like this.
