Attaching the Tube & Funnel of a Beer Bong
Hi! This is Blake Whitaker for Expert Village. So now we have all of the supplies in front of us. The vinyl tubing, the funnel and the valve. Now if you paid attention to the diameters and the fit of the vinyl tubing for both of these parts, you should not need any adhesive or tape. It should just slip right on there. Now noting that this is half-inch diameter going into the 5/8's diameter, we should have a snug fit once again without using any adhesive or tape just by simply slipping it in there, twisting it around and making sure that they are nice and snug. The friction alone should be able to hold these two parts together. They should be air tight as well as leak proof. So far, we've attached the funnel to the vinyl tubing and at this point, you can look at the beer bong and say, this is finished because you actually operate this by using your thumb as a valve. We are going to add the valve because it makes it a little bit less messy. So once again we are noting that the diameter of the valve is smaller than the diameter of the vinyl tubing. So once again the vinyl tubing is going to slip around, the outside of the valve and connect to make it air tight, sealed, help prevent leaking or any oxygen from escaping. So as you see, I slip it in there, making sure that it is nice and tight and we note that it is sealed all the way around and it is nice and even and then we are ready to use it.
