In order to keep...have kids take care of their glasses and keep their glasses from being broken, you have to learn how to take care of your glasses. Your kids are going to learn by watching you. So, you need to make sure that you do these steps as well. The things that we already talked about but, a few things that I find that work for helping kids take care of their glasses. Again, kids seem really drawn to color so, if their cases are bright colors, colors that they like. They always know where their case is. They keep it in the same place. It's always in their backpack when they go to school. They are going to be more prim to putting their glasses in the case when they're done with them and done using them. Again, reiterating some of the things that I've already talked about. Kids love to rip of glasses with one hand. You have to be adamant about teaching them to take the glasses on... to put the glasses on and take them off with two hands so they don't stretch them out. Kids also love to adjust their own glasses. They love to push these nose pads way far out so they're not touching on their nose and they wind up all kinds of out of adjustment. But generally speaking, kids just are not as good as adult in taking care of their glasses. You will have to bring them to the optician several times probably to get them adjusted. It's common. It's not...you're kid's normal if they're glasses are bent out of shape. If your kid's good at taking care of their glasses, more power to you but, generally speaking we just see a lot more kids frames in the office for adjustment but, the same rules apply; cloth, spray when they need to be cleaned off. Parents generally have to be the ones to take care of them but, the key is I think, the color of the case and I think making sure it's a regiment where it's always in the same place is really going to help your child take care of their glasses.
