Pressing Seams for Piping

So, now I'm back over at my ironing table and now I'm ready to press out the two seams that I had made. The seams that I had made joined my strips, all three of my strips together to make one long strip. So, let's just flip these guys over. There we go. I'm just going to press the seam open. When you say that, that's just pressing it one side over and the other side to the other side. Very simple. Now, let's do the same to this one. Here we go, nice and open. Another thing that you can do if you want, it's not a big deal, snip these little extra triangles off the edge. Here we go. Okay, so now let's look what it looks like when we fold it over. That's what it's going to look like. That looks really good and this one also. So, now we have one long strip that we're going to insert the piping cord into. In the next clip, we'll go over to the sewing machine and we'll go ahead and start inserting that.
