So now that we have those three strips cut out for the piping, on that 45 degree angle, also known as the bias of the fabric. I'm going to take you over to the sewing machine, and I'm going to show you how to sew those three strips together to make one long piece, that we can then insert the cord into. So lets go on over to the sewing machine, and I'll teach you how to sew these pieces together. So before I even get started sewing, I'm going to go ahead and show you a little demo of how it would look if I just pin them together. So let?s just get two pieces out, set one aside. And what we want it took look like, the final look, is just like this. Just like, it would be nice if they matched up, but it just really doesn't happen that easy. For this, it doesn't really matter at all. For this, we want to make it look just like this, and we want to sew it so it looks like that. So if I just pinned it on just like this. Lets do a little example pin, so we can see how it will look. And we'll just sew it corner to corner. And then we'll flip it out and show you. This is what I want you to see. That if you just laid it side to side, corner to corner, then you folded it out. You would have this extra fabric here, and extra fabric there. And that's ok, especially if you have a whole lot of fabric left over. But if you're working with not very much fabric, or if you're and exact person like I am. I would just like to move it down a little bit where I have just a piece of the corner sticking out here, and a piece of the corner sticking out here. From two different pieces of the piping. Now let?s pin this and see how this looks. And let?s flip it over. And look, it matches up perfectly. The edge of each piece matches perfectly and that where we know, this is where we want to sew it. From this corner where these two meet, to this corner where they meet right here. And in a minute I'm going to show you how to sew all of them together just like that with a little back stitching. And then we'll have it ready to go for the cording that we're going to use.
