Hi, my name is Lenee Alexander, with leneealexanderdesigns.com. And, I'm here with expertvillage.com today, and I want to teach you how to make your own handmade piping. And piping is basically a cord that has been wrapped in fabric, and it looks like this when it's applied. And there's a lot of different things that piping is on--anything from apparel, like dresses. Maybe at the bottom hem of a dress, or cap sleeves; or a lot of pillows, a lot of furniture, home decor have it. Maybe some curtains. And there's just a lot of different things that you can do with it. And so today I want to teach you how to cut the fabric, sew it together in one long strip, and how to wrap it around a piece of cord to make your own piping. So, get your stuff together, and we're going to go over the supplies list next, and we'll figure out how we're going to go about making this piping.
