Flop & Draw in an Omaha Poker Tournament

You know, early in a Pot Limit Omaha tournament you need to be thinking about something that in the no limit holdem tournament world we call your "M" or your "CSI". Which is, basically it's a measurement of how many small blinds and big blinds you have divided into your total chip stack. So, if the blind is say one chip and two chips. And, you have five hundred chips. Well, one plus two is three. Three divides into a five hundred more than a hundred times. You're pretty safe to sit out most hands. And, that's important. Because, the thing you notice when you play in a Pot Limit Omaha tournament. Is most of the players are happy to play most hands. And, that will play to your advantage when you get a good hand. When you get an ace and when you can combine it with a card of the suit. See how long it takes for good hands to come out? And, when you have along with it a pair of kings. This is definitely a playable hand. On the other hand, again good hands just don't come out that often. But, you will see people play this. And, you will see people play jack, ten, five, three where the jack and three are suited. Because, hey I could make a flush with a jack three suit. But, you know what? You're almost never going to make the nut flush. And, in Pot Limit Omaha if you want to win with a flush it had better be the nut flush. Maybe, you can win with the second nuts. Usually, you're beaten.
