Most of the planers come with very simple adjustments. Basically, what we are looking at is just what will be your depth of card. To do this on the planer you have something that is called a lowering handle. And also then on the scale you will see how far down or up you want to go. Once you have the preset depth that you intend to do the planning at there is usually something that is called a locking handle. It will prevent something that is called scalloping and then we can demonstrate it later, but if you do your planning make sure this locking handle is always in an on position. It is for safety reasons as well as for the clean of cut. Another feature that this particular planer has is something that is called a repeated cut and what that means is you just preset it to the depth of cut that you want every board from now on that you want to be at. You just keep feeding the boards until you have this desired depth. Very simple, very effective. Other than that, there isn't really that much to adjust on the planer. Just follow the safety rules and you will have a lot of good times. Thank you.
