Tools for Replacing EGR Valves

In this clip, we are going to talk about the proper way to remove and replace the EGR valve, or exhaust gas recirculation valve, on a 1997 Ford F-150. In this clip we are going to talk about the tools required to properly diagnose, remove, and replace your Ford F-150's EGR valve. What I have here is a standard and metric socket set, with a couple of extras that I have thrown into the empty spaces. I have my magnetic tray, in order to put my bolts on so I don't lose them, and I have my heavy duty test light, in order to check circuit continuity. These are the tools required in order to service your EGR valve for a '97 Ford F-150.
