In this next segment, I'll be demonstrating techniques for Plantar Fasciitis, which is a form of tendinitis that occurs in the foot. Over the years I have had many runners with Plantar Fasciitis present themselves with this problem, and I frequently ask them questions regarding their shoes. How old they are, obviously if they have a rigorous training schedule. And if they're something more than a weekend athlete, they need to be buying new shoes more frequently. They may also need to see somebody to be fitted with orthotics. This can be a very difficult problem to deal with if it's become very acute, and you may have to advise your client to take a break from the activity that's causing the problem. And of course, that would be the case with any of the kinds of tendinitis that we have been talking about today.
