The good old tricks of the trade. Now, we will show you a few ones that everybody in the trade is using and they definitely help prolong the life of your bit. As well, it will help the quality of your finished product. Believe it or not, the simplest and the easiest trick is to utilize a wax. Wax, which is just in paste form, is quite easily obtainable in any Home Depot or Lowes or any type of hardware store. You just take a little piece of rag and you make sure that you wax the base. What this will do, it will allow you to slide the base of the trimmer over the surface and slide very, very easily. The same you will do with the surface that you will be leading your bit against. It doesn't have to be a lot, just enough to actually help the tool guide itself through. That's pretty much what everybody in the trade is doing as far as the tricks. Use it and you will find that your tool will last much, much longer and will work much, much better. Thank-you.
