Traveling by Car When Planning a Vacation

Hi! I’m Stephanie Phillips with expertvillage.com. We’re talking about traveling by car. Actually the car is much bigger than this. It’s going to be one that your whole family can get into. One of the things that’s important about traveling by car is how far are you going. Who’s going with you? Are there children involved? Do you need lunches? Are you going to stop many times? You’re going to have to stop a couple of times. Are you going across the country by car or just what’s known as a one tank trip? Are you going from one end of the state to the other? When you’re traveling by car, I always advise you to have a small cooler with some cold water in it at the very least, some snacks, even for yourself, even if you’re not traveling with children, some cold fruit. I would also get my directions before I went, unless you know exactly where you’re going. Go on Yahoo maps; go to mapquest.com. Put in your address. Put in the destination, your final destination, or places along the way. They would even tell you about construction sites that are going on. You can avoid a lot of problem by getting your directions ahead of time when you’re traveling by car. Finally, remember you have luggage limitations when you’re traveling by car. Make sure you have enough trunk space so that you don’t have to sit on a suitcase. Lots of planning when you travel by car, but it can be a great sight seeing experience.
