First Step in Planning a Vacation

Hi! I’m Stephanie Phillips with expertvillage.com. You’re planning a trip, where do you start? This is where you start, with a calendar. Are you going for a weekend? Are you going for a week? Are you going for a month? There are some people that go on world cruises for 3 months. They may be leaving January 15 and coming April 30th. The start is, when do we want to go. Is it affected by weather, vacations. Do you have children? How long do you have for vacation? Are you retired? Time is an issue; length is an issue. When you’re planning a vacation, the most important thing, and I think step1 and planning is when are we going. To tell you the truth, one of the things that you have to know is, if you planned on going somewhere in a particular month, make sure it’s not the rainy season. It could ruin your vacation. That’s why you start with the calendar.
