Waving Dog Trick

Were going to teach um, to do a wave and the end product of the wave looks like this. Wave. Good girl. That?s a very exuberant wave. How you start is, you need to get your foundation of the shake and the high five. Our shake looks like this, which we have a very excited dog to do this and our high five would be the change of the hand position. Once you are getting a really good high five, you start by telling him high five. Good dog, treat. Then you would start with the high five, but take your hand away. So now you have what is the beginning of the wave. I would do it again, good girl. Now once she is doing it on a regular basis, I can tell her to wave by putting my hand up and taking it to away. Good girl. To get a little bit longer of a wave, I can wave, wave. Good girl, so now I am getting a little bit more of a structured wave. In order to get a really clear hand signal you can start changing it up by, wave, putting a little crink in it. Now we have a dog that waves with both hands.
