How often will your kid need new glasses. Well kids are obviously growing at an exponential rate. You can come in at 6 months and buy one set of glasses and then 6 months later you find that they've really outgrown their glasses. There really is no set time frame for when to adjust your kids glasses. A good rule of thumb though would definitely be every year. I would think that after a years time your child is going to need a little bit of a bigger frame. I've seen kids go two years with the same set of glasses from let's say, they were 5 and now they're 8 and to be frank the glasses just don't look good. And I would assume that after that point the child might get ridiculed for wearing glasses that just don't fit them anymore. So be cognizant of how they look on your child. A kind of tell tale sign is this. Is the child's head flaring out the frames like this? If it looks like that's happening? It's definitely time to get your child a new frame. I mean that's really the tell tale sign, is this being pushed out like this. The other thing is if they don't sit on the ear properly anymore. And I'll show you on mine. And if the child's head's growing all of a sudden you're going to notice that the temples are sitting right up here now. And that's not going to look good at all. So kind of be aware of how your child's feeling in the glasses. And you can tell. You can tell obviously if those glasses are not fitting them anymore. You want the glasses to, the frame of the glasses to hit right up on the temple line. You don't want them to be so small that the temple is exceeding the frame. So you want them to be surrounding the eye and the frame of the glasses to be kind of lined up with the temple of the head. You don't want it to be obviously too wide but when a child's growing it's going to be too small after a period of time. And you'll notice that the frame or the front of the frame is smaller than the child's face. So those are things that you want to look out for.
