Anti-Reflective Coating for Children's Eyeglasses

The other option, that I want to talk about is anti-reflective coating. And, hopefully the camera is picking this up. But, there's a greenish hue to this. Now, I would probably recommend anti-reflective coating for any older child. Again, probably a teenager. Anti-reflective just diffuses light a lot better than just a regular lens. You don't get the backwash of reflection when you're looking at somebody. My lenses right now, have anti-reflective coating on them. That's important if your child is working on a lot of projects on the computer. Maybe, if they're fifteen and getting their driver's permit and learning how to drive. Those are things that I think, activities that would definitely benefit from the anti-reflective coating. You get a lot of eye strain if light is bouncing all around in your workstation and work area at school. So, again I think that that can be a benefit. But, you have to know your child. The anti-reflective can scratch a little bit easier. So, it would have to be with somebody again like I'd say a little older. Maybe, a little bit more mature. And, has maybe worn glasses before and knows how to take care of them. But, again two very viable options that I think you should consider for your child.
