Plastic Children's Eyeglass Frames

Now we're going to talk about plastic or sile frames for girls. Because plastic frames generally aren't marketed at this age towards boys you're going to find them in a lot more different color varieties, a lot of different patterns. I would think consider them to be a little more feminine. As a matter of fact what I have to show you is almost all very feminine. So let's take a look at a few. Plastic frames also I think are marketed more towards the teenager, again probably 12 to 16, 18. You'll see a lot of different colors. We have a maroon and a pink frame here. Definitely has a lot of different highlights. They generally sometimes have a little bit of a jewel on them. Something of that nature. Just a lot of different types of designs. These tend to be a little bit more I guess more fashionable. The designers take more liberties with these. Here is a black frame with a purple backing and again kind of some jewels on the side. This again, is probably for an older child. These frames as I've talked about a little bit and discussing the adjustments. They don't have a lot of movement to adjust the frame. Every adjustment that you do with this has to be done under heat. You have to heat the frame up so you can bend it. I wouldn't suggest doing this at home; again bring it to your optician. These frames again really have to fit the child pretty much perfectly before the sale is made. You want to make sure that these work. That these fit properly because there is nothing really that can be done afterwards. Again, this is for older children and it's not a one size fits all deal. You have to kind of make sure that they fit relatively well before you make that type of decision.
